Plot: Plot: In the year 2050, James (Taron Egerton) lives in a community in an isolated compound in the forest. He has been raised there his whole life. One day, Dr. Lennox and a couple of orderlies take James to an examination room. Dr. Lennox (Sharlto Copley) tells James that he has a condition and must undergo surgery immediately. As he is being prepped for surgery, James notices a man (Mel Gibson) viewing from the operating theater and gets a bad feeling. James runs out of the operating room. Orderlies and guards search for him. James hides out in the laundry facility, hiding in a laundry cart. The laundry cart is picked up and wheeled into the back of a truck and taken away from the facility.
Dr. Lennox meets with James Thorpe, the man from the operating theater. Lennox assures Thorpe that they are doing everything they can to capture James and bring him and his heart back. Thorpe tells Lennox that if they cant bring James back that he'll do it himself as he has a lot of money invested in James. Lennox sends out head of security Attila (Dave Bautista) to track down James and bring him back to the facility unharmed.
James finds himself in a futuristic Baltimore with no clue where to go when he sees a billboard that reads "Need Help?". He goes to the address, which belongs to an ambulance chasing attorney Kate Hendricks (Aubrey Plaza). He tells her about his life on the compound, and how he escaped. She thinks he sounds crazy and calls the police. He manages to run away from the police. Kate later feels sorry for James and gets him a hotel room.
Attila bursts through the door of the hotel room, but James is not there. Thorpe asks Lennox for an update, and Lennox tells him that they are close to capturing him and bringing him back.
James and Kate are eating at a diner when he sees Thorpe on a TV screen. James tells Kate that the man on the TV was at the compound. She tells him that Thorpe is a billionaire philanthropist in the city. They go to Thorpe's office and ask to see him. They are at first denied entry, until Thorpe himself recognizes James on a video feed and tells his assistant to let them in.
Kate and James demand to know what is going on and what the purpose of the compound is. Thorpe tells them that the high-stress lifestyle that earned him his billions has also left his heart weak. He tells them he paid Dr. Lennox and his company $100 million dollar 23 years ago to have a clone of himself made just in case he ever needed any new organs. Thorpe says that James has finally become useful and he was at the compound to get James' heart. Attila emerges from behind James and drugs him to knock him out before killing Kate. James' heart is harvested back at the compound by Dr. Lennox and put into Thorpe.

REVIEWS
"Despite some strong casting, the film suffers from a plot that has far too many lulls for thriller and some very uneven direction and often awkward pacing." - Chris Mears, Slashfilm
"While the story doesn't always work, and some of the casting seems off, the film gets one aspect perfect: the casting of Taron Egerton and Mel Gibson. They're both fantastic." - Paul Onkean, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
"You'll leave this movie feeling like you just got slapped in the face by the ending. It's a courageous move, but one I didn't particularly enjoy." - Clark Davis, JoBlo.com
